Receives all incoming grocery shipments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for Grocery Receiver

Examines merchandise for damage or defects. Practices safe food handling procedures. Verifies shipment information against bill of lading or invoice. Inputs required receiving data into system. Generates and attaches identification labels to products. Ensures that the receiving area is clean, safe, and secure and that packing materials are properly processed.
